"Indigo Ocean Dreams" is a 60 minute CD/audio book designed to entertain your child in an ocean setting while introducing them to four relaxation and stress-management techniques. Children follow their sea friends along as they learn to release and manage anger with "Angry Octopus", build self-esteem with "Affirmation Weaver", implement breathing with "Sea Otter Cove" and visualize with "Bubble Riding". Designed as the sequel to "Indigo Dreams", this CD offers longer stories and expands on the relaxation techniques of breathing, visualizations, muscular relaxation and affirmations. It is deal for older children ages 6-12, or as step two for those already familiar with "Indigo Dreams". Engaging characters present these adult level techniques in an easy to follow format that makes it fun for any child to learn. The narration is accompanied by calming sounds of dolphins, sea otters and gentle waves. An additional music sound track is included to further enhance your child's relaxation experience. These proven techniques encourage wellness and provide tools for children who suffer from anxiety, stress, trauma, hyperactivity, anger, sleep issues and lack of confidence. These stories were created to help our own child realize how easy it was to let go of anger and believe in herself. I knew I had another hit when my daughter asked me to tell her the octopus story over and over again!

I bought this CD for my 10 year old daughter who has terrible trouble getting to sleep at night. She would still be awake at midnight some nights and be very ratty in the morning due to lack of sleep. The first night I used this CD, she went to bed at 8pm and was asleep by 8.35pm. An absolute miracle for her. Woke up the next day brighter and happier than I can remember. Have been using for nearly a week now and the change in her sleeping habits is fantastic. I have also been using it for my 7 year old son as he also wanted to have his CD player on at night, he does not have sleep problems but is a very active and excitable child and it seems to have calmed him down a bit.
