Dandelion Dead

Hay on Wye, England, 1921. The serenity of this small country town is about to be shattered by a shocking revelation about one of its leading citizens. Major Herbert Armstrong is a man equally proud of his work in the justice system as he is of his beautiful garden. But he is a man at war.

A pillar of the community, Armstrong is in conflict on three fronts: he constantly argues with his bad-tempered, domineering wife; has regular skirmishes with his bright and ambitious business rival; and wages a war of attrition against the dandelions that have colonised his beloved lawn... His dandelion problem is easily solved with small, delicately placed servings of arsenic. Perhaps his other problems can be treated with the same method?
