Father, Dear Father

Patrick Glover (Patrick Cargill) is a divorced thriller novelist attempting to raise and keep the peace between his two teenaged daughters Anna (Natasha Pyne) and Karen (Ann Holloway). He's sometimes driven almost to distraction by their constant teasing and, to him, shockingly modern outlook on love, sex and marriage. Helping (but sometimes hindering) his efforts is Nanny, ex-wife Barbara, his dotty mother and his agent/girlfriend Georgie...not forgetting H.G. Wells, Patrick's lazy St. Bernard.

LAST OF THE RED HOT MOMMAS: Patrick convinces his mother that living alone is no longer a good idea.

AN AFFAIR TO FORGET: Patrick's accountant Leo has had a fling with his secretary Felicity. His wife discovers Felicity and Leo wants Patrick to pretend that Felicity is his new Girlfriend.

HOUSEY HOUSEY: After a six week holiday in Spain the Glovers return to find a letter from the council saying that a new 'fly-over' will be built and will cut through Patrick's front garden.

THE RELUCTANT RUNAWAY: After continuing disagreements between Patrick and Karen, Karen decides to move out.

COME BACK LITTLE SHEBA: Patrick gives up smoking and puts the ashtrays and cigarettes in a cupboard draw to avoid temptation.

A DOMESTIC COMEDY: Nanny goes on holidays, so Patrick goes to a domestic agency to look for a temp replacement for Nanny.

THE NAKED TRUTH: Anna has the lead role of Juliet in an amateur production of Romeo and Juliet with a surprise final scene.
