Booktopia Comments
A large square paperback storybook with quirky pictures by Ben Galbraith. An important story for some children because it covers the common occurrence when they stay with their Dad once every fortnight. So if you have a young one trying to come to terms with these living arrangements then it may give them a way of finding some inner peace that at all times they will either be apart from their mum or their dad. So if this is the situation that you are familiar with and the kids are aged between 2 and 4, maybe 5 depending on how recent the separation is, then this is highly recommended. I hope it helps.

Product Description
A brilliant text about belonging in a contemporary family setting with artwork by a critically-acclaimed illustrator.

Every second Friday, Margi and Totty go and stay at Dad's house where they get magnificently muddy, worryingly wet and mind-blowingly messy. But they always have fun!

About the Author

Kiri Lightfoot was born in 1980 in the UK and now lives in a tree house in Auckland, New Zealand - well a house surrounded by trees anyway. Kiri has had a love of books since her father used to read a story in a different accent every night before bed. From Scottish to Indian, Irish, American, Australian - she never knew what to expect. Every Second Friday is Kiris' first book and one she is very proud of. It is based on her own childhood having time with her Dad after her parents separated.
