About the Author

The father of three girls, Philanthropic internet entrepreneur Daniel Petre is also one of Australia’s most successful technology and media executives. A former lieutenant to Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates, he was the Managing Director of Microsoft Australia. In 2001 Daniel and his wife Carolyn founded the Petre Foundation, in which they have given 35% of their net wealth to Australian charities and organisations.
