Who’s Troye Sivan?
This Johannesburg-born, Perth-raised singer, songwriter, actor and internet star is considered one of the world’s top 25 most influential teenagers.
He had a Hollywood gig at age 13, a lead role opposite John Cleese at 14 and a recording contract on his 18th birthday. When he was seventeen he wrote and published a song from his bedroom. It took one week before he was approached by record label EMI Australia to pursue music professionally, and his debut album was released worldwide on December 4.
Troye (now 20) has 1.5 million fans on Facebook, almost 3 million Twitter followers, over 3.5 million YouTube subscribers and is a passionate advocate for the LGTBI community.
