Let’s just imagine for a minute that you’re Bab Sharkey. The Beard is now fused to your chin and you are not only allowed entry into the hidden and magical city of Mumphis, but you rule it. Sounds pretty good right? Too good to be true? Tell that to Bab Sharkey, the brave and loveable protagonist of this new series you won’t want to miss.

It’s safe to say that Andrew Hansen and Jessica Roberts have delivered on an adventure that will stick with you for a long time with Bab Sharkey and the Animal Mummies: The Weird Beard!

With a beard that can change shape, animal mummies and an evil Unpharaoh, we’re preeeeeetty sure they’ve covered all bases! It’s time to let your imagination run wild.

Much fun was had when Andrew and Jessica visited us at Booktopia. If you’re reading this and you’re still not sure this is the book for you (unfathomable), we’re going to let the creators themselves convince you why their series is a must:

Before entering the exciting world of books, Bronwyn served in the Royal Australian Air Force, travelled extensively and worked (still does!) as a barista on the weekends. Books are her true passion. Bronwyn's debut fantasy novel Relic is coming out in 2019 with indie publishing house Talem Press. They are to publish her entire trilogy called The Relic Trilogy. In her spare time, Bronwyn writes, reads and enjoys keeping fit (which she undoes by eating loads of chocolate) with Martial Arts and personal training. She can't answer what her favourite book is but she has a soft spot for Peter Pan (J.M Barrie), Outlander (Diana Gabaldon), Stardust (Neil Gaiman), The Illuminae Files (Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman) and Six of Crows (Leigh Bardugo). Fantasy, sci-fi and YA make up the majority of her bookshelves.
