It’s hard to deny that Matt Stanton is one of Australia’s biggest children’s book authors right now. Hilarious, kind and driven – we love having Matt in to discuss and promote any and all of his books! “This is my dream job and I can’t think of anything better to be doing,” says Matt. “I go into schools a lot and meet these kids. They’re really keen to read and I leave the schools, go home and work on books for them.”
“I wish I could explain how good it feels when you get an email from a parent saying ‘my kid never reads but they’ve devoured this book’,” explains Matt. “I’m really passionate about encouraging kids about, not only the power of their imagination, but that their imagination is fun to use.”
