The shortlists for the 2020 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards were unveiled yesterday, with authors such as Christos Tsiolkas, Tara June Winch and Archie Roach all making the list.
Like their other state counterparts, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards celebrate excellent Australian writing, and were established by the Victorian Government in 1985. Each winner of the award for fiction, non-fiction, drama, poetry, writing for young adults will receive $25,000, while the winner of the Award for an Unpublished Manuscript will receive $15,000.
The winners will be revealed on 30 January, 2020, at the Wheeler Centre in Melbourne. Read on to see all of the nominated books!
