The 2020 Stella Prize longlist has just been announced!
The Stella Prize is Australia’s biggest literary award that champions women’s writing, aiming to recognise the literary contributions of Australian women and bring their work to a wider readership. The prize is awarded to one book written by an Australian women writer published within the past year, with the winning author receiving a $50,000 cash prize.
This year’s longlist is just fantastic, filled with some acclaimed novels, ground-breaking works of non-fiction, a short story collection, a YA novel and a graphic novel!
The shortlist will be announced on the 10th of March and the winner on the 8th of April, which leaves you plenty of time to get stuck into these wonderful books.
