National Simultaneous Storytime with Lucinda Gifford!

Today is National Simultaneous Storytime, an awesome annual read-along event held by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). At 11 am, kids across the country in classrooms or at home took the time to read a picture book by an Australian author and illustrator, in a celebration of books and reading. The official NSS picture book for 2020 is Whitney and Britney: Chicken Divas by the wonderful Aussie author and illustrator Lucinda Gifford:

Whitney and Britney are two gorgeous chooks,
Fluffy and silky with stunning good looks.
Dora is perplexed about where her chooks go each night. Little does she know, they are Whitney and Britney, Chicken Divas!

This year marks the 20th anniversary of National Simultaneous Storytime, and to celebrate, we took part in the storytime! You can view our video below.
