The Children’s Book Council of Australia have revealed the 2022 Book of the Year shortlist, featuring authors such as Gary Lonesborough, Karen Foxlee, Sami Bayly and more!

Established in 1946, the CBCA Books of the Year celebrate the previous year in Australian children’s publishing, with awards given across six different categories.

The Winner and Honour Books list will be announced at noon AEST on Friday, August 19 — read on for the full 2022 CBCA shortlist!
