Better Than The Movies by Lynn Painter
“The nostalgia. This is such a fast-paced, feel-good read. Even though it’s a high school romance this will be enjoyed by any age. If you love romance films, specifically ones that date back to the early 2000s you will really appreciate this one as it has so many references from films many of us were brought up on. From Bridget Jones Diary to 10 things I hate about you. And if that didn’t convince you, read it for Wes. The book boyfriend of every high schooler’s dreams.”

“I can’t even express how much I adore this book. A grumpy hero who is really a softie on the inside gets me weak every time. This read is a whole lot of fun but also impactful. It has incredible character development and it was so lovely seeing our hero with such a tough exterior let his walls down and realise he is deserving of his own happily ever after.”
