BookTokker @kiarrabonniee shared with Booktopia some of the great books she has been reading and enjoying! Get ready to add these titles to your #TBR or maybe even a reread.

Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

“This book was so good that I didn’t want to pick anything else up for weeks after it. I tried reading other things, but I just kept putting them down. From the first chapter, until the very last I was completely lost in the story. If I could rate it out of 5 stars, I would give it a 6.”

Normal People by Sally Rooney

“The writing style in this was so different to anything that I have ever read, but I fell so in love with it. The story of Marianne and Connell felt so real that it hurt. If I could recommend one book that I think everyone should read at least once in their lives, this would be it.”

Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren

“The way this book made me feel is the way I wish every romance novel would. It was nothing short of perfection. This was the type of book that had me staying up all night crying into my pillow.”

Verity by Colleen Hoover

“I read this book in one sitting. I sat down and began reading and that was it, I did not put the book down until I was finished. This was the sort of book that leaves you staring at a wall wondering what in the world you just read.”

Fable by Adrienne Young

“A Young Adult fantasy about pirates? Absolutely. This book”

About @kiarrabonniee

My love for reading started before even I can remember. My dad used to read me books at every opportunity he got. Every time he was near a bookstore, he would always return home with a new book for me. My mum was also a huge supporter of my reading. She tells this story from when I was 2 years old and my older cousins were visiting. I was sitting on the couch with Dr. Seuss ‘Fox in Sox’ in my lap.

I was reading out loud, quoting the book word for word. My cousins were so shocked that at 2 years old, I could read. My mum laughed, because she knew that I wasn’t actually reading, I’d had the book read to me so many times that I had memorised the entire thing, including where I needed to turn the page. Reading has always been such an important part of my life, and when I discovered BookTok, I couldn’t help but become a part of it. It has been such an amazing experience to be able to share my love of reading with so many others and be part of such a beautiful community.
