About the Authors

The Peppers are active members of two 4WD clubs and regularly organise trips and activities, both locally in the forests around Melbourne as well as further afield. Robert is a freelance motoring journalist specialising in off-road vehicles and a senior instructor with 4WD Victoria. He is the author of two previous Boiling Billy titles The 4WD Handbook and GPS Vehicle Navigation in Australia. The Range Rover Club of Victoria is one of Victoria’s longest established 4WD Clubs, having been founded in 1977, originally exclusively for Range Rovers.
