An exploration of white working-class English men, showing how and why some have been captured by the far-right and what the left can do about it.

During the 2019 general election, we witnessed countless white working-class voters swap their allegiance from the left to the right. Fascism is on the rise once more across the world. Forty years of neoliberalism have shattered traditional class consciousness and white working0class Englishmen are seizing whatever sense of identity they can; a belonging often formed on nationality rather than circumstance. A Small Man's England pins a microscope on the conditions of white working-class Englishman, and is a rallying cry for the reconciliation and common struggle of all oppressed demographics. The legacy left by Margaret Thatcher continues to haunt our country and, in facing this head on, we may collectively turn the tide of capitalist England.
