The television show is based on a picture book about curious 8-year-old Dot, who loves to learn via the technology of her tablet and loves to spend quality time with her family and friends. It’s all about balance.

The plot of this level 2 reader sees Dot, her best friend Hal, and her dad out in the wilderness on a scouting scavenger hunt expedition (similar to Cub Scouts, Brownies, Girl/Boy Scouts).
