A stopwatch has sixty thin black lines, each marking off the seconds in a minute. But in Tom s stopwatch, they are also gateways to sixty different worlds ...

After returning from their last adventure in the Land of Mirthful, Tom and Bilby find themselves quickly sent by Grandpa to the Land of Dragonay when he discovers they have in their possession a dragon egg in a suitcase. Dragonay has become a desolate wasteland since the dragon's gem was stolen and misused by an evil human called Ilgan. All traces of the powerful dragons who once flourished in this land have been erased, but Tom and Bilby are determined to find where this egg came from. They have a feeling there may be some dragons in hiding. Can Tom and Bilby survive this bleak and unhappy land, which is currently ruled by flying snakes who live in a community in the treetops and patrolled by robotic dragons controlled by the evil Ilgan?
