About the Author

Tony Palmer has worked as a book designer for various publishers since 1986. He has won designer awards for his work and is often acknowledged in the Australian Publishers Association Annual Book Design Awards. He is currently a senior designer at Penguin Books. Break of Day, written in 2004, was Tony's first novel and drew from personl family history as well as documented fact. His great uncle was a first world war veteran and Tony realised this was a story that needed to be told.
