The story highlights the importance of these relationships and how they can enrich our lives, as well as the connections with elders and how they can nourish a growing child’s mind through their rich knowledge of the world around them.

About the Author

Jacinta Boyd is an artist, author and illustrator. She is a qualified primary school teacher and graphic designer who lives with her husband and two daughters by the seaside. She divides her time between her art career and writing and illustrating. Jacinta is always inspired by nature, in particular her local area, which is a prominent feature in her work. Dear Grandpa is Jacinta’s first published children’s book.
