Elisabeth Leseur's life was full of hardships and cause for sadness. Her husband, Felix, had lost faith and actively worked to destroy hers. Nonetheless, she continued to love him devotedly and to pray for him. She was a great letter writer and diarist, and, unbeknownst to her husband, recorded profound spiritual insights in her journals and correspondence.
