
Gino Dal Pont
Gino Dal Pont holds the position of Professor, School of Law, University of Tasmania, where he teaches in equity & trusts, legal ethics and tax. He has written a wide variety of legal books, for student, academic and professional audiences.
Some of his most well regarded works include Lawyers’ Professional Responsibility, Equity and Trusts in Australia, and Equity and Trusts In Principle. He has also authored a number of other law books, including Law of Agency, Law of Limitation, and Law of Succession. These text books are a must for any law student in Australia.

Meet Gino Dal Pont
Gino’s work has been cited over 1,000 times in Australian courts alone, and has been recognized by the award of an LLD, as well as Fellowship of both the Australian Academy of Law and the College of Law.
He is fluent in Italian, and has spent his entire academic career at the University of Tasmania. He began as a tutor in 1991, and became a professor in 2005.
His degrees include a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Legislative Law (Hons), a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, a Master of Laws and a Doctor of Laws. As such, there are few legal experts in the country with quite as much experience, knowledge, and education as Gino Gal Pont, making him the perfect candidate to create such a library of legal textbooks.
Gino Dal Pont is also the General Editor of Halsbury’s Laws of Australia, and has completed more than 40 conference presentations, several as a Keynote speaker. He is also a Director at the Australian Academy of Law, and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
