Hannah Moloney

Hannah Moloney's upbringing on a vibrant herb nursery in inner-city Meanjin/Brisbane endowed her with a wealth of practical skills and the insight that gardening and farming are possible in nearly any location.

With over 20 years of experience, she has actively contributed to organic farms, permaculture projects, and urban agriculture initiatives across Australia. These endeavors not only yield food but also foster vibrant communities. Hannah is deeply passionate about gardening and land management, viewing them as integral to building a healthy future.

In recognition of her contributions, she received the Tasmanian 'Young Landcare Leader Award' in 2015 and proudly serves as an ambassador for Community Gardens Australia. Making her first appearance on Gardening Australia as a guest presenter in 2019, Hannah has since become a permanent fixture. She consistently contributes to Gardening Australia Magazine and has authored the bestselling book, "The Good Life: How to Grow a Better World."

Currently based in nipaluna/Hobart, she directs a sustainability education, landscape design, and community-building practice. Her vibrant and productive home is situated on a steep hillside, where she tends to her garden alongside her partner, daughter, and a variety of animals.
