A story about a brother and sister who discover a lonely ghost who wants them to be best friends … forever.

When Georgia and her brother Ned are shipped off to their uncle and aunt’s farm for the holidays, things look bleak. She will have to spend time with her bully of a cousin, Jeff. When she meets a strange local girl called Lily who wants to be friends, Georgia decides anything is better than spending time with Ned and Jeff. But she soon discovers Lily is more than just a little odd ... she’s been dead for over 150 years.

About The Author

Lorraine has worn many hats, most of them relating to children’s books: reader, librarian, parent, book reviewer, book promoter, and lastly, author. Having written short stories as a hobby for most of her life, she gave up full-time library work a few years ago to concentrate on writing children’s novels. Her first novel, Cross Tides, launched her career as a writer and her other books include teenage novels, historical books and junior fiction. She also reviews children’s books for Magpies magazine.
