About the Author

Dennis Schilling is the Professor for Chinese Philosophy at the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China. He studied Sinology, Philosophy and Japanology at the universities of Wurzburg, Munich, Wuhan/PR China, and received his Doctor degree and the habilitation at the University of Munich.
