About the Author

Barrie Trinder spent thirty years working in Shropshire, in the adult education service of Shropshire County Council, and at the Ironbridge Institute. He taught evening classes and led guided walks in most of the furthest extremities of the county, on Offa’s Dyke, on the Clee Hills and on the Staffordshire border. He has lectured in many European countires, as well as in the United States, Canada and Japan.
