Jane Lopes

Jane Lopes is a sommelier, author, and importer based in Nashville. She has contributed her expertise to renowned establishments such as New York's Eleven Madison Park, Nashville's The Catbird Seat, and Chicago's The Violet Hour. Most notably, she served as the wine director at Attica, one of Australia's highly acclaimed restaurants. Jane gained television exposure on Esquire network's 2015 series Uncorked, where six New York City sommeliers pursue the coveted Master Sommelier title—an achievement Jane earned in 2018.

In September 2019, Jane utilized her University of Chicago literature degree by publishing her debut book, "Vignette: Stories of Life and Wine in 100 Bottles," offering a personal and educational perspective on wine. In 2020, along with her husband Jonathan Ross, she co-founded Legend, an Australian wine imports company. Jane is set to release her second book, "How to Drink Australian," in September 2023.
