• Based on the Logie Award-winning animated children's series that features Miranda Tapsell and Deborah Mailman, Little J & Big Cuz follows the adventures of Indigenous Australian kids Little J and Big Cuz living with their Nanna and Old Dog.
• The television series now airs across ABC, NITV, and SBS On Demand. It has won Best Children's Program (Logies), an ATOM award, an Awgie and SDIN award.

About the Author

Adam Thompson is an emerging Aboriginal (pakana) writer from Tasmania. In 2016–17, Adam received writing awards through the Tamar Valley Writers Festival and the Tasmanian Writers and Readers Festival. Adam has been awarded a First Nations Fellowship at Varuna – The Writers House, several Arts Tasmania grants, and was one of ten recipients of The Next Chapter initiative through the Wheeler Centre. His writing has appeared in the Australian Dictionary of Biography, Kill Your Darlings, and The Griffith Review and Adam's debut short-story collection, Born into This, was published by UQP in February 2021. A regular collaborator on the Little J & Big Cuz television series, The Stormy Night is Adam's first children's book.

About the Illustrator

Tony Thorne's endearing character design and vivid sense of place for Little J & Big Cuz is the culmination of his rich and diverse experience as an animation director, illustrator, visual artist, author of graphic novels and comic book illustrator. Tony's career is as diverse as it is interesting, spanning a Tasmanian Book Prize shortlisting, works displayed in the National Portrait Gallery and the Burnie Regional Art Gallery, and positions on high profile features including Animation Supervisor on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Senior Animator on Hunger Games and Happy Feet II and Lead Animator on Ella Enchanted and Valiant
