Energy [of any type], is necessary for people to prosper. Over time, people moved from muscle power to wind, water/stream, steam, gasoline, electric, solar, geothermal and atomic. If a new type of energy was available, it would be welcome. This ebook takes a radical leap. Electricity [in the abstract], could have been studied not by inorganic means, such as a dynamo/generator but via a biological source: electric eels.

Thus the proposal surfaces: The so called "human magnets" seem to have an energy type, not yet examined by science. They are labeled "human magnets" [Hm-s], since similarly to electromagnets that can effect ferromagnetic substances, Hm-s can attract (and occasionally repel) solids. In this, they merely use their clean, dry skin. No appendages. They can support heavy or numerous objects of any composition.

Inorganic magnets can produce fields that can go through almost any type of non metallic substances. But human magnets lose their ability to interact, if any material in introduced between their clean, dry skin and whatever they try to influence. (Be it clothing, or even a thin layer of talcum powder.)

Since this ability is voluntary, it has to be connected to the brain. Medical imaging equipment can locate active brain regions, as Hm-s can be observed to display their ability. Examples of imaging equipment are the fMRI (functional Magnetic Resonance) tools and the research grade High Density EEG ( with 256 recording scalp electrodes).

Once brain regions and tracts correlated with the Hm-s ability are identified, these nerves can be traced "downstream", ultimately to show the biological cellular assemblages that do the actual voluntary adhesion/release of solids to their body. Thus, analogously to the electric eels, which show one type of energy, Hm-s display a novel energy in action.

Our civilization has benefited from the knowledge of electricity. We could elevate ourselves by learning from the "Hm effect".

The hope (as the title of this ebook proclaims), we could more effectively "Live and multiply".
