Are you living for work rather than working for a living? Do you want to live a happy and meaningful life as a migrant?

For many immigrants, life too often becomes a challenging cycle of adjusting to the new life in a new country, working hard to establish yourself, going up the career ladder, and working even more hours. In the process, actual living gets left behind in search of the proverbial greener pasture. And guilt, regret and longing whisper their painful voices more often than you want.

You don't have to go down that road.

Instead, read this highly engaging and inspirational book and let Joyce Roa take you on another way--a simple path to living a great life. Live It Great traces the journey of Joyce and her husband from their home country the Philippines to New Zealand and the lessons she learned in the process of moving and living in a new country.

Inside Live It Great, you'll discover:

  • How to deal with crossroads in your life;
  • How trusting in the Great Planner results to a meaningful and happy life;
  • How giving of yourself to others heals you;
  • How to live for more than money;
  • And much, much more!

Filled with Joyce's conversational warm tone and inspiring stories from other people who have gone through the same process, the book will inspire and motivate you to live a happy and meaningful life as a migrant.

Industry Reviews

Joyce uses her travels and experiences from being a migrant to New Zealand to share 12 life lessons that will set anyone down a path of growth and discovery. I loved lesson three "having a bring-it-on attitude" really is the difference between living a life of pain or enjoying the ride. If I could, I would have given this book 10 stars! (Lise C.)

The book is a very positive tribute to this great land as she describes her experiences in detail and encourages readers to make New Zealand their next travel destination. I am already intrigued to visit based on what Joyce shares in "Live to Great." The book also has a powerful message about how to live life to the fullest and do what you can with the time that you have. Although in written form, you can visualize this country as it is experienced through Joyce's eyes. (Scott Allan)

A light and enjoyable read! It was a pleasure reading about the author's life journey with her husband in unfamiliar territories. Her eye-opening stories of the struggles immigrants face are rich in life lessons and inspiration, told in a very entertaining way. Get your copies now! (N. Sevilla)

Amazing book to read. I like the Lesson Seven "Be Grateful." Sometimes in our busy life we tend to forget to be grateful of the simple things that is given to us by the Almighty. What I also like is the interactive part of Personal Application at the end of each Chapter. This book "Live it Great" reminds me and gives another perspective of living life to the fullest. Congratulations and God Bless! (Jun S.)

We are taken along with Joyce as she expands her world. She shares with us the secrets she found to live a happier fuller life. Well written, each sentence encouraging you to read the next. I am a better person from reading this book and the lessons and examples she shared. Highly recommend and a necessary addition to your self help library. (Judson Somerville)

If you love to travel or want to see other places this book is for you. It has humor, it has travel stories and life stories. It is worth the read you can almost see the places she has traveled. Just a really nice read! Great descriptions make me feel like I have been there. (Cheryl)

Excellent book to read. The author shared some of her life stories, painting lovely pictures with her words. The travel experience from being migrant to New Zealand to share her life stories is amazing. Totally recommended. (Maitha Alshamsi)
