He calls it fate. She calls it blackmail.

Rory has a secret: she's the vandal who paints graffiti lions all over her town. When Hayes, a former screw-up on the path to recovery, catches her in the act, Rory is sure she's busted. Instead he makes her a deal: if she tells him about her graffiti, he won't turn her in.

As the two grow closer, the police efforts to find the vandal ramp up, and Rory is forced to confront a secret she still can't bring herself to face.

About the Author

Laurie Boyle Crompton is the author of, Blaze (or Love in the Time of Supervillains), The Real Prom Queens Of Westfield High and Adrenaline Crush, as well as the upcoming Love And Vandalism. Laurie graduated first in her class from St. John’s University with a BA in English and minor in Journalism. Since then, she’s written for national magazines like ALLURE, survived a teaching stint at an all-boys high school, and appeared on Good Day New York several times as a Toy Expert. And yes, a ‘toy expert’ is an actual thing that people sometimes get to be.

She and her husband spent six months in England, hiking all over the Cotswolds and learning to properly guzzle hot tea. She lives near NYC, but maintains a secret identity in New Paltz, NY where she and her family can often be found climbing over rocks or tromping through the forest.
