Margie Warrell grew up on a small dairy farm in near Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia. She attended Monash University in Melbourne, Australia where she completed a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) at Monash University.

After a corporate career working for organisations such as BP and KPMG, Margie went back to college to study psychology at Deakin University before beginning a new career in coaching and leadership development. She is currently doing her PhD at Fielding Graduate University. 

She is also on the advisory board of the Forbes School of Business & Technology. Margie writes a column for Forbes and her expertise has been quoted in numerous media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, Redbook, Psychology Today, Fox News, Today Show, Bloomberg, and Al Jazeera. People she has interviewed for Forbes include Sir Richard Branson and hotelier Bill Marriott.Margie is also host of the Live Brave Podcast. She has interviewed numerous guests including Steve Forbes, Sri Sri Ravi Shanker, Marianne Williamson, Kathy Calvin, Layne Beachley, Kristin Neff, and Harvard University Professor Tal Ben Shahar.
 
Margie has worked with a host of organisations globally including NASA, Salesforce.com, Deloitte, Berkshire Hathaway, Oracle and the United Nations Foundation. 

She has also been a guest lecturer at various universities including Columbia, Georgetown, SMU and her alumni Monash University in Australia.
