Dennis Weaver stars as the brave Deputy Marshal Sam McCloud, the toughest cowboy to ever take on the mean streets of New York. Part of the rotating mystery wheel which included such television hits as Columba and McMillan and Wife, McCloud proved that sometimes all you need to solve a crime is a little good of country know-how.

The final season sees McCloud hit the trail, travelling to London to thwart a terrorist plot involving The Queen, to Moscow to nab a mafia drug baron and on the open road to Oklahoma accompanied by a girl on the run. If that's not enough to keep him saddled up, back in New York City, Christmas brings a hospital hostage situation involving the chief and McCloud comes face to face with Dracula!
