Lulu Bell meets Glee in a charming and hilarious junior fiction series from beloved Aussie actor Ada Nicodemou!

Meet Mia!
Her life is pretty interesting and amazing. She's the only kid in her class who lives above a shop. And not just any shop – everyone knows Costa’s is the best place for groceries and the yummiest pastries. She has a cute-but-annoying little brother, Yianni, and the best friends ever. Oh, and her mum plays the worst pranks. Mia loves dancing and singing and is always putting on a show. And she's ready to step into the limelight . . . this year will see Mia get closer to her dream of becoming a megastar. But the road to stardom is not without a little drama. . .

From beloved screen star Ada Nicodemou comes this actor-approved adventure, perfect for kids aged eight-and-up dreaming of the stage! Fire up the souvla (that's the Greek barbecue, by the way) and join the Summerdale Stage Stars on a heart-warming journey of friendship, teamwork, family . . . and more than a few wacky dance moves.

Bursting with illustrations and stunningly designed, each page is a new adventure.

About the Author

Ada Nicodemou is one of Australia’s favourite media personalities and for over 27 years has gained a solid local and international family audience. She is best known for her role as Leah Patterson on Channel 7’s longest running and highest rating series, Home & Away, on which she still stars. Ada has been nominated for seven Logie Awards (including ‘Most Popular Actress’ in 2022) and won the 2006 Inside Soap Award for 'Best Australian Actress'. In 2023, Ada took her love of home cooking online by sharing cook-along videos with her mum to her Instagram page, garnering a huge following and reaching more than 1 million views and counting. Ada has also used her large following to promote and raise awareness for various charities she feels passionately about, including The Good Friday Appeal and Breast Screen Australia. Mia Megastar is inspired by Ada's childhood when she grew up in her family shop, performed for an audience at every opportunity and dreamed of one day becoming a star.
