Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown

"Once I find something I want to do, nobody’s stopping me."

Millie Bobby Brown is an English actress who shot to stardom following her role playing ‘Eleven’ in the popular television series Stranger Things. She received two Emmy nominations for Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role, and launched a career in television and film.

In 2023, Millie also released her debut novel, Nineteen Steps. This historical fiction book is set in war-time London and explores romance, secrets, and tragedy. Bobby Brown said that the story was inspired by her nanny Ruth, who survived the Bethnal Green tube disaster.

The fact that Millie is both an established actress and an author before her 20 th birthday is impressive enough, but there’s even more to this multi-faceted talent.

Meet Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown was born in Malaga, Spain. She spent her first few years there before moving to Bournemouth in England at the age of four, before her family moved again – this time to Florida – when she was eight.

Millie also happened to be born with partial hearing loss in her left ear. Today, she has total hearing loss in that ear, yet still manages to act and sing despite not fully being able to hear herself.

As well as her role in Stranger Things, Millie has starred in both Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong. She is also the leading character in Enola Holmes and Enola Homes 2, and both stars in and is the executive producer for Damsel.

Millie is engaged to Jake Bongiovi, son of rock Jon Bon Jovi, and is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She is also a famed animal lover, often fostering and working to find them good homes.

It seems Millie truly is capable of doing anything she sets her mind to, whether that’s acting, producing, singing, or writing fiction novels.
