About the Author

Eddy L. Harris (1956 -) is a writer and filmmaker from Missouri. He is the author of six books, including Native Stranger , which was selected as a 'Notable Book' by the New York Times in 1992. In 2017 he released River to the Heart , a documentary film about his Mississippi journey. He lives in France.
