A book for anyone whose dad has made them laugh – or cringe!

My dad doesn’t like babysitting. He says no one should sit on babies. My dad doesn’t eat seafood. He says there’s something fishy about it. My dad doesn’t lie in bed. He says you should always tell the truth. My dad thinks he’s funny.

About the Author

Katrina Germein began writing books by accident when a story in her head wouldn’t go away. She wrote it down to set it free. This story went on to become Katrina’s first picture book Big Rain Coming. Katrina has continued to write books for children ever since, including the highly popular My Dad Thinks He’s Funny. She lives in Adelaide with three children, one husband (who thinks he’s funny) and a black and white dog named Sunny.

About the Illustrator

Tom Jellett’s books have included: Hot Stuff by Margaret Clark, Fuzz the Famous Fly by Emily Rodda, and Australia at the Beach, a picture book by Max Fatchen. Tom now lives in Sydney and works as an illustrator for The Australian.
