I have just turned the last page of 'your mom's memoirs'. I am in total awe of a woman I never knew & feel so grateful to be given insight into & to share in her life. It is, by far, the most compelling account of an horrendous period in time & a poignant dedication of a daughter to her mother, that I have ever read.

I actually found myself thinking about this book for weeks after I finished reading it. The many voices in the book were a perfect vehicle to express how important Bobba was to her family, and how her experiences during the Holocaust informed and influenced not only all aspects of her life, but the lives of her family members as well. I have read many books about the Holocaust and those who survived it and I really feel that this is a unique work. To have Bobba's actual words from her recordings, added a deep and personal dimension to the book.
