About the IllustratorMira Nurdianti runs Melancholy Memento, which is inspired by femininity, lores, melancholia and witchcraft. Her illustrations are essentially a diary where she shares thoughts, appreciation of life and what it means to be a woman. Through her work she hopes to connect with others and for them to conjure strength from within; like a talisman. She works mainly with fineliners and watercolor. All illustrations are prints of an original (unless otherwise stated). She does not usually plan on how the end result would look like. It's a very natural process, letting the subconscious take over and see where it leads her.
