About the Author

Harveer Dev graduated with a BA(Hons) in Natural Sciences (2008) and an MB BChir (2011) from the University of Cambridge, before completing his basic surgical training at Addenbrooke's Hospital. He developed his research interest in the role of DNA repair in cancer as a Fulbright Scholar at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (Boston), and as a Wellcome Trust Doctoral fellow at the Gurdon Institute (Cambridge). He is currently a CRUK Academic Clinical Lecturer in early cancer detection. He has previously served as a magistrate for the Central London Bench. David Metcalfe holds first class honours degrees in Biological Sciences (BSc) and Law (LLB). He previously taught ethics and medical law at University College London and is now a Clinical Lecturer in Emergency Medicine at the University of Oxford.

Review from previous edition Review from previous edition I was one of the original guinea pigs for the SJT. If I had this book before I sat the exam I would have aced it. This book shows you exactly what the markers are looking for, where to find valuable pre-reading material and the practice questions are impressively like those in the real SJT.
