Pain tells the story of personal experience with severe depression and of redemption from that suffering, alongside a biblical explanation of the meaning of pain. It explores what the book of Job, the gospel of Jesus, and the life of the church tell us about why pain exists, and finally provides the solution of our loving Father: in the sacrifice at the cross, our sanctification, and the kingdom of God.
