Ernie's Journey

An epic tale about the value of the stories we tell from a debut author/illustrator.

Uncle Ernie is a daring adventurer and an enchanting storyteller. He travels to far-off places, where he encounters wonderous and sometimes very rare creatures. Are these places real? Are the creatures he meets? It’s up to you and his nephew Eli to decide.

All Uncle Ernie can say for sure is that when you travel, sometimes you reason and sometimes you run. But you always end up with a story to tell.

About the Author

David Woodland (Woody) lives in Sydney, Australia, working as a children’s book author and illustrator. He has 20 years of experience as a designer on feature films, including ‘Lord of The Rings’, ‘Happy Feet’, ‘Moulin Rouge’, ‘Thor’, ‘Pacific Rim 2’, ‘Legend of the Guardians’ and the ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ arena production. Woody also has a creative history as an exhibiting artist, animator, character/production designer for contemporary dance and puppetry. Woody is a recipient of a Churchill Fellowship, a Visual Effects Society Award and is a Cannes Lions Grand Prix winner. Ernie’s Journey is his debut picture book.
