About the Author

Michelle Robinson has always wanted to be an author like her hero Roald Dahl, but all they had in common was the same birthday and a love of chocolate. Now at last, Michelle is a real author too. She lives in Frome, Somerset with her husband, son and daughter.

About the Illustrator

Claire is an illustrator, writer and designer who lives and works in London. She has spent several years as a design director in the world of channel rebranding working for clients such as Nickelodeon, BBC Three, CBBC and BBC One. As a result of her broadcast experience Claire is very comfortable with narrative, pacing, storyboarding, movement, layout and composition. Claire has a tendency towards humour and bright, bold use of colour and she loves creating strong typographical layouts to help tell a story.
