About the Author

Hannah Eliot is a children’s book editor who lives in Manhattan, New York. Her favorite activities include editing (of course), writing, painting, and doodling all over every piece of notebook paper she uses.

About the Illustrator

Carol Herring is an illustrator living in Southland, New Zealand. She lives with her husband and five kids in a country cottage along with sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and a miniature horse, who happen to live outside the cottage. She specializes in children’s books and has plenty of inspiration to draw from with such a busy household. She loves to paint with gouache when she has the time, and is inspired by many illustrators from her childhood such as Richard Scarry, Mary Blair, and Alice and Martin Provensen.
