About the Author

Ian Shive is an award-winning photographer, author, educator, film producer, and environmental advocate, recently recognized as the recipient of the Sierra Club's Ansel Adams Award for Conservation Photography. Often referred to as the leading chronicler of America's national parks today, his book The National Parks: Our American Landscape has remained a best-selling photography book since 2009. He's is also the founder and CEO of Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc., which represents the archives of over 600 photographers worldwide. Jon-Paul Harrison is the Executive Director of Sales and Development at Tandem Stills + Motion, Inc. where he helps unite the world's best image-makers with magazines and companies looking to enhance their visual brand identity.

An established outdoor industry veteran with over a decade of experience, his approach to sales and progressive licensing models in the digital era has been highlighted in respected art and photography schools around the country including the American Society of Media Photographers, The National Press Photographers Association, the University of Southern California, and Santa Monica College.
