Shawn Bowe has to recount the harrowing events of SEAL Team Six's last mission. Everything goes terribly wrong during a routine mission where Team Six is just supposed to swoop in and collect some laptops for data and then clear back out in minutes. There are more hostiles than the intelligence were aware of.

Their Black Hawk helicopters are shot down and crash to the ground, igniting on fire just as they narrowly escape. Pinned down in a small building and taking major fire, team leader Keller sacrifices himself so that the other surviving members can escape. After Bowe himself is shot in the leg, he has to crawl through a dark forest on his badly burned arms. The hostiles are right on his tail and he has to fight through the enormous pain in his arms and his legs to get away. After crawling along all night long, Bowe comes upon a marine outpost where the medic treats his injures. Before he can recover, the hostiles bear down on the marines and a firefight to the death ensues.
