Qualified nutritionist and social media star Emily English (@Emthenutritionist) shows you how to live a healthy, delicious lifestyle
When we think of nutrition and 'eating well' so many of us jump to the words 'diet', 'unenjoyable' and 'sacrifice'. Sometimes we can see healthy eating as something we should do rather than something you want to do. This book aims to change that. To alter your perception of eating well and shift away from an all or nothing approach.
Food, to me, means joy. It's a celebration, a memory, a moment. As I spent my life around food, I realised something profound: "We don't eat nutrients, we eat food, meals, flavour." I sought to close the gap between the scientific and the savoury, to bring the joy back to nutrition through my debut cook book SO GOOD.
SO GOOD grew into a movement. It's not about counting calories; it's about making every meal COUNT. It's about loving the food that loves you back and transforming how people look at healthy eating. Let every bite you take not only nourish your body but feed your soul with the simple delight of SO GOOD. Let's bring the joy back to nutrition, back to our lives, back to our plates, and never forget that food, at its core, is joy.
Food, to me, means joy. It's a celebration, a memory, a moment. And I invite you to join me on this journey, where food becomes a symbol of joy, nourishment, and love. Let's cook together, laugh together, and make every meal a moment that's SO GOOD.
About the Author
Emily is a fully qualified, registered nutritionist with a degree from Kings College London. Her passion began from an early age through her family of cooks and chefs. Spending her childhood summers in the kitchen, with her school terms in the chemistry lab, Emily's curiosity grew for both what was on her plate and what was going on inside our bodies.
She continued her academic journey at the prestigious university Kings Collage London, ranked number 1 in the UK for nutritional sciences, where she flourished and discovered the true depth of the subject. Using her knowledge for both cooking food, nutrition and human physiology she is able to achieve incredible results in her private London clinic.
