Storm Chaser is a magical book full of stunning photographs taken by Mike Oblinski as he fuels his 'addiction' to tracking the most violent hurricanes and tornadoes in the U.S..
He often travels hundreds of miles in a single day to capture his stunning images. He started photographing storms in 2008 and his hobby has subsequently taken him to remote areas of Arizona, Kansas, Colarado, Oklahoma, Texas and California where the true scale of the weather formations can be captured. His favourite images are of swirling supercell storms as their unusual structure gives them an otherworldly feel - almost like an alien spacecraft hovering on the skyline.
"It's hard to describe why I'm drawn to weather and storms, it's just what I've known my whole life. When I was little I would watch storms with my dad on the patio and grew up learning about them. It wasn't until later in life that I really got interested in storm photography and started learning more about it and things exploded from there."
