Sweet Pea's Journey

In this third Sweet Pea Tale, Sweet Pea is fed up! Her Christmas Hospitality has left her home a big MESS and she wants to get out of there! She tosses a few necessities into her boat and sails South in search of warmer waters. One misadventure after another does not deter Sweet Pea from continuing bravely onward. Will she reach her destination? How many friends will she collect along the way? Sail along with Sweet Pea on this unlikely journey. As in all the Sweet Pea Tales, there is more than one story going on. Mice, birds, chipmunks, turtles, squirrels and bugs are small but important actors in the story. It takes keen eyes to discover all the visual humour and tiny details embeded in the pictures. At the end of the story, a map of her journey reveals to the reader some information of which Sweet Pea is blissfully unaware; yet it proves that the Journey is sometimes more important than the Destination.
