5 stars! . . .The enchanting Tales of Mr. Snuggywhiskers: The Autumn Tales (Volume 1) is such a delightful fantasy story . . . There is never a dull moment. One of my favourite scenes is visiting Squirrel's home while he is on his honeymoon, due to its good description. Mr. Snuggywhiskers is rather intelligent for a mouse, and Hallie and Cory are cool. I found this book very easy to read and appropriate for children in third and fourth grade. The illustrations are simple and childlike while amazingly fresh and different.
